Your authority is in your authenticity, simply meaning the more honest, accepting, vulnerable and open you are with yourself first, is the more empowered you will be to address and heal any area of your life. My ideal client(s) are people who are willing to learn and grow within. I have no biases with religion, size, race, sexuality, age, and gender. It is my practice to be judgment-free and accepting.
I have 17 years in working with individuals, teens, and families, with 6 of those years as a counselor. My time as a helping professional has allowed me to walk alongside people in the darkest times in their lives, with a diversity of disorders, especially eating disorders and trauma. It is my honor to support and coach skills to manage trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, mood issues, grief, and low self-value. The foundation of my counseling practice is strength-based, filled with radical acceptance. I am a proponent of the arts and the health at every size movement. I have led groups that focus on mood management, trauma and recovery, and self-esteem building. For individuals and families, I incorporate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodrama/Experiential, and Solution-Focused techniques to cultivate recovery, change, acceptance, growth, and self-reflection. I work with clientele from pre-teens, through later adulthood.

I have earned a masters degree in Counseling from Oakland University, with a specialization in Couples and Families. I’m dually licensed in the states of Arizona and Michigan. I am apart of the National Board of Professional Counselors. I see clients online and in offices.
I have experience in facilitating conferences, commercials, clinically supervising and managing clinics and staff members as well. I look forward to serving you.
