Research has shown that the greatest factor leading to successful therapeutic outcomes is the genuine connection between the client and therapist. My therapeutic approach focuses on fostering a dynamic working relationship as the foundation for addressing the challenges that you are currently facing. This is accomplished through my use of warm and nonjudgmental support, psychoeducational activities, and the use of humor to inspire you to regain your hope for a brighter tomorrow. My professional credentials include Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Master of Science Degree in Education, Associates of Arts in Mental Health and Social Work, and 19-years’ of
experience working for the Oakland County Department of Health and Human services. I believe that with a combination of compassion, therapeutic knowledge, and many years working in the mental health field has given me the skills and proper perspective to support you along this mental health journey.
